RAC Bags (Random Acts of Kindness)

RAK bags
Non-perishable food bags are put together by the United Methodist Women. You can carry a bag or 2 in your car to give to someone in need. The RAK bags are available in the fellowship hall.  The ladies meet at 9:30 am on Mondays to assemble the bags.

Youth Program

Wednesday night at 5:30 is the youth program. All youth in the community are invited to participate. supper is provided, you can participate in providing supper - there is a sign up sheet in the fellowship hall, about 30 youth attend.  The youth are grouped by age:

Fireflys & Neons: pre K thru 6th grade
Jr. & Senior High

Prayer Shawl Ministry

Prayer Shawl Meeting
The groups meets on Wednesdays at 1:00 pm to make Prayer Shawls, Sleeping mats, and Busy Blankets for dementia patients. All are welcome to participate. Prayer Shawls

Walking by Faith

The groups meets on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 9:00 am for exercise and fellowship.  All are welcome.

Food Pantry

We participate in the monthly Irion County Food Pantry.  See Church Calendar for dates.

Mertzon Community Luncheon

Twice a year the church sponsors the Mertzon Community Luncheon on the third Tuesday of the month at 11:30 am.

Arbor Terrace

The groups meets on third Thursday of the month at 4:30 pm.  The group sings and interacts with the residents of Arbor Terrace.  All are welcome.

Ten Commandments-Quilting Group

The groups meets on Thursday at 12:30 - 3:00 pm.  All are welcome.

Chrysalis Youth

The church feeds the Chrysalis Youth on Mondays at 12:30 pm.  There is a sign up sheet in the fellowship hall where you can sign up to feed the group.  Expect about 6 youth.

Emmaus Reunion Group

The groups meets on Fridays at 12:00 pm. for prayer and fellowship.


The groups meets on Sundays and Tuesday at 7:00 pm in class room 1.

NA (Narcotics Anonymous)

The groups meets on Thursday at 7:00 pm. in class room 1.
